Human beings develop through leaps between plateaus. There are zones of proximal development (ZPD) between these plateaus—a distance between the actual development stage and the potential one. I focus my support on these ZPD to help leaders identify and strengthen the scaffoldings they need to evolve. In so doing, they engage themselves in an ongoing learning loop to adapt and respond to what emerges at the edge.
